Service at SACS

Community Service

San Antonio Christian School is committed to putting our faith into action through service, living out Christ’s call to love and care for others.

As part of our “Faith in Motion” initiative, students come together each fall and spring to support local non-profit organizations through campus-wide service projects. These efforts not only provide much-needed resources but also create opportunities for prayer and reflection as we lift up the individuals and communities we serve.

Our prayer is that these experiences inspire a lifelong commitment to serving others with hearts and hands, glorifying God in all we do.

“For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore, I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’”

Deuteronomy 15:11

SACS Students Serve!

Students are encouraged to actively seek opportunities to serve those in need, embodying the love of Christ through their actions.

In addition to campus-wide service projects, each grade level participates in unique acts of service.

In our elementary school, each homeroom class adopts a missionary. Throughout the year, students pray for their missionary partners, gain an understanding of the work they are called to do, and write letters of support.

Middle and high school students expand their reach by visiting nursing homes, assisting seniors with projects, or serving in local hospitals. Many high schoolers also participate in mission trips during the summer, both nationally and internationally, deepening their commitment to sharing God’s love wherever they go.
