My Story

I was born in San Antonio and have lived here my whole life. I graduated from John Marshall High School. After high school, I attended SWTSU in San Marcos and earned a BS degree in Elementary Education. I married my husband, John, in 1980 who is also from San Antonio. We will be celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary in June. We have 2 sons, Jason & Kyle. Both of our boys married wonderful girls who attended and graduated from Texas A&M. We have been blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren.

What church do you attend?

Churchill Baptist Church in San Antonio

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

One of the reasons I love working at SACS is the shared faith and values among the staff, students, and families. Working at SACS is a place where there is an environment where everyone has a love for the Lord.

Favorite Bible verse

Matthew 19:26 – “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

What are your hobbies and interests?

My hobbies are getting together with my sister to quilt (which we both love and only recently learned how) and, of course, spending time with the grandkids.
