My Story

I was born and raised in San Antonio, I have been blessed to continue to call it home for the majority of my life, minus college and a few years in Dallas. I’m married to my best friend Blake, who constantly reminds me to laugh and be silly. Together, we have two wonderful daughters, Charlotte and Bailey, who continually remind me of the importance of teaching not just with words, but with actions. Being their mom has deepened my understanding of how essential it is to nurture both the heart and the mind. Teaching has always been my dream, and I feel incredibly blessed to be living it out every day. It’s not just a career for me—it’s a calling.

What church do you attend?

Mission City North in San Antonio

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

At SACS I have the opportunity to make learning fun and meaningful but also rooted in Christ. I am able to help my students see and understand that their talents and abilities are gifts from God. It is a joy to be in a community that values love, kindness, and service. This provides me with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the hearts and minds of my students, preparing them for a life of faith and service.

Favorite Bible verse

Zephaniah 3:17 – “The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.”

What are your hobbies and interests?

When I am not enjoying watching my daughters in their various activities, I enjoy working out with friends, cooking and doing Legos with my husband. I also enjoy being creative with embroidery and vinyl projects.
