My Story

As a Texas native, and blessed to grow up in a Christian home, I was very involved in Agriculture (4-H and FFA) that taught the value of honesty and hard work. San Antonio Christian has been a true blessing and a calling from the Lord, enriching my life far more than I could ever give back. I’m married to my husband, Winn Cox, and we live in Seguin with our two horses. We enjoy spending time with family and horseback riding. I have two grown sons—Brig and Nicole, who live in Lubbock with their new daughter, Brecklyn, and Brock and Paige, who live in Halletsville. Both sons are high school teachers and coaches, and their wives are nurses.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

I’m blessed to work with a special team that is a constant source of encouragement and support, making it a place where I feel both personally and spiritually uplifted. SACS’ mission to foster a life of faith and service is evident in the encouragement among colleagues, creating an environment where we can grow together spiritually and professionally while fostering a sense of belonging and purpose.

What sport(s) do you coach?

Former Volleyball Coach

Favorite Bible verse

Psalm 23:2 – “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still waters, and refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my coup overflows. Surely your good ness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

What are your hobbies and interests?

When I’m not supporting athletic events at SACS and my children, I enjoy horseback riding, working on our farm, and serving the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo (Life Member since 1987).
