My Story
I am married to Kenny Dirkson, the longtime SACS High School Cross Country and Track coach, and we have two young children, Kenlee and Kenzo. I participated in a variety of sports growing up, including cross country and track, which I continued to compete in during college. I have always had a passion for the health and fitness industry and love that I have the opportunity to serve in the field in multiple positions at SACS!
What church do you attend?
Hillside Fellowship in Spring Branch
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
I love coaching and developing young athletes alongside my husband. Teaching PE at SACS allows me to combine my passion for physical education with the opportunity to instill biblical values like teamwork, perseverance, and respect in my students. I cherish the close-knit family atmosphere at SACS and eagerly anticipate the day my children can join this wonderful community!
What sport(s) do you coach?
High School Cross Country and Track
Favorite Bible verse
Isaiah 40:30-31 – “Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new “strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”
What are your hobbies and interests?
When I am not teaching or coaching, I love running, working out, traveling and discovering new restaurants. I enjoy these even more when they are shared with my friends and family!
