My Story
I am blessed to have an amazing wife, Sam, and three beautiful daughters: Cassidy, Shaylyn, and Mallory. Mally is a Junior here at SACS, and I am incredibly grateful that all five of us are together in this remarkable city. Coming from a family of educators, I have spent most of my life in schools, except for two years of military service and a four-year stint in the business world. Having lived in Johannesburg my entire life, I could never have predicted that God would lead my family and me to this new chapter in the United States. I am deeply thankful to Him, and I am committed to walking in His footsteps, striving to bring glory to His name.
What church do you attend?
NorthRock Church in San Antonio
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
I am thrilled to be back in a high school and doing the job that I love. I love the environment here, and in particular working with Christ followers who are all eagerly seeking to put God first in their lives. I love that at SACS we are open to things we can do better and are constantly striving to improve. This is a wonderful school of excellence – a school where we genuinely strive to honor God and point others to Him.
