My Story

After graduating from high school in Comfort, Texas, I took a two-year gap to study God’s Word. I spent the first year at Timberline Lodge in Fraser, Colorado, before returning home to continue at His Hill. I later moved to the East Coast to attend Columbia International University in South Carolina, where I double-majored in Bible and Bible Teaching. After completing my student teaching, I interviewed at SACS, and from that moment on, there’s been no looking back! My wife and I are blessed with two children and love visiting her family in British Columbia.

What church do you attend?

Boerne Bible Church in Boerne

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

Working and coaching at SACS has been one of the best work experiences I have had in my short work life. The community and families at SACS have welcomed me and my family with open arms! I feel free to follow my calling here with the full support of the administration behind me, whether that is teaching the Bible to seventh-grade students or teaching 8th-grade students how to use a pellet smoker to make some tasty ribs!

What sport(s) do you coach?

Varsity Baseball

Favorite Bible verse

Galatians 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”

What are your hobbies and interests?

In my free time, I love to go fly fishing on the Guadalupe or try out new golf courses in the San Antonio area!
