My Story

An Oklahoma native, I graduated from Oklahoma State University and earned a Master’s degree from Midwestern State University. I’m married to Kevin Pritz, the SACS physics teacher, and we’ve been married for 24 years. We’ve had quite an adventurous life, living all over the world (Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Bangkok, Thailand) thanks to my husband’s military career. We’re proud parents of two SACS graduates and one current high school student. In addition to directing my 17th production at SACS, I mentor the middle school and high school praise teams, direct shows, and teach classes. Fun fact: I once made it to the top 24 on America’s Got Talent as part of a group act!

What church do you attend?

Community Bible Church in San Antonio

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

What I love most about teaching is helping students identify God-given talents they didn’t know they had and guiding them as they grow. Theatre is a powerful tool for building confidence, and I’m passionate about inspiring students to embrace their unique abilities. I encourage them to recognize that their talents are meant to glorify God and contribute to His kingdom.

Favorite Bible verse

1 Peter 4:10 – “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”

What are your hobbies and interests?

I enjoy traveling, playing the piano, and singing. I love reading, but I have to pace myself—I’ll stay up all night to finish a good book if I’m not careful!
