My Story

I hail from the small town of Post, Texas but moved to San Antonio when I was six years old, so San Antonio is home. I have 7 children, three biological sons, one adopted son, two adopted daughters (from Haiti), and one who is mine in my heart (from Romania and now with Jesus). I have learned in this life that God is good no matter how I feel and to trust Him in the good times and the bad.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

What I love most about teaching is connecting with students and hopefully imparting to them how much God loves them. I am blessed when I see students beginning to understand that God uniquely created them and that they are perfect just the way God made them. I also love teaching the students how God is a part of all things, history, science, and reading. —He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17

Favorite Bible verse

Psalm 37:4 – “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
