My Story

I am married to my beautiful wife, Aneliz, and we met at church when I moved to Texas to work at SACS. I was born in Michigan and grew up in a home where my mom and dad were great examples of walking out their faith, and my dad is a Christian school math teacher and principal. I have three brothers, Jonathan, Michael, and Matthew, and I have a sister-in-law Gabi married to my twin brother Jonathan. I moved across the country to work here, but my values of living a life that shows others how to enjoy and follow Jesus has been taken with me. I aspire to be a husband and a father one day that shows my children and my children’s children what this looks like.

What church do you attend?

Crossbridge Community Church in San Antonio

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

I enjoy teaching and coaching at SACS because I get to invest in the lives of my students and players in more than just their academics, but also in their eternity. At SACS I get to influence my students with application to what God calls believers to do, and we are able to integrate biblical principles and application along with our strong academics. The administration and faculty have like-mindedness in this.

What sport(s) do you coach?

Middle School Soccer and Middle School Golf

Favorite Bible verse

Philippians 4:11 – “Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.”

What are your hobbies and interests?

I enjoy hiking with my wife, trying new coffee places, playing guitar, playing piano, singing, playing basketball, soccer, disc golf, golf, biking, and doing pretty much anything outdoors.
