My Story

I met the love of my life at Baylor University and after graduation, we were married in 2003. We have 2 biological children and adopted our youngest son from Bulgaria. We have the 2 cutest pugs in the world, Tinkerbell and Taco(bell). I have been an RN since 2003 and have worked in several areas of nursing from the Emergency Department to GI to surgery. I never planned to become a school RN, but the Lord had other plans for me! I enjoy caring for the MS and HS students as well as the staff here at SACS. When I am not working, you’ll find me doing a CrossFit WOD, running and enjoying the outdoors, baking, or just at home taking care of my special needs kiddo!

What church do you attend?

Crossbridge Community Church in San Antonio

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

I love the God moments I get with not only the students but also other staff members. People come to see me when they are feeling vulnerable and usually when they are not at their best. I get the chance to pray over them, comfort them, or just encourage them. I love allowing the Holy Spirit to move and use me to help others in their time of need.

Favorite Bible verse

Ephesians 3:20 The Passion Version – “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination!”

What are your hobbies and interests?

My favorite moments are spent either at the gym with my 5am workout crew, running in my neighborhood and just taking in God’s beauty, or just being at home with no plans and binge-watching Netflix.
