My Story
I met my husband while we were both serving in the Air Force. We met in pilot training and have been married since 2007. We have two wonderful boys. I left the Air Force to be a stay-at-home mother for several years until I went back to school for Biblical counseling because I wanted to help people deal with the problems of life the way that God instructs us in His Word. I love blending my passion for this with my interest in mathematics. I consider it a great privilege to teach students and meet them in some of the hard challenges that naturally occur in the day-to-day classroom.
What church do you attend?
Crossway Bible Church in San Antonio
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
I love to watch students grow in relationship with God. I think high school is a special place where students tend to own their faith and really begin to apply God’s Word to their hearts. I also love to watch them use the incredible gifts that He has given them for His glory!
Favorite Bible verse
Colossians 3:23 – “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people.”
What are your hobbies and interests?
My favorite hobbies revolve around spending time with my family. I love to travel with them, cook with them, and just spend time with them.
