My Story

I am married to my wife Julia who is a Kindergarten teacher at SACS. I have two boys named Ezekiel and Oliver. I have been in the education field since 2012, where I worked in special education administration. I started in medical records but moved into digital marketing and community outreach. I have also coached soccer since 2004. God brought me to SACS in 2016 as a soccer coach and I fell in love with the school right away. While working at different schools in San Antonio, I always felt a call to move to SACS. After much thought and prayer, God called me to take the leap in 2022 when I was hired to teach Photography and Journalism.

I love that the school allows me to use my skill set to teach the things I love and to mentor students. I love that we not only get to teach our subjects but also talk to our students about God’s love for them. My background in digital storytelling and technology allows me to guide students to make sound decisions in the digital age.
