My Story
I grew up in San Antonio and have lived here most of my life. I am happily married to my husband, Curt. We are blessed to be the parents of three wonderful children. My son, Grant, is a musician, my daughter, Kirsten, graduated from SACS and attends Texas State University, and my youngest son, Griffin, attends SACS and will graduate with the Class of 2026. I have been teaching since 2011, and I have taught third and fourth grade. I began teaching fourth grade ELA at SACS in 2020. I am currently a fourth-grade Math and Bible teacher, and I feel honored to teach at a wonderful Christian school.
What church do you attend?
Concordia Lutheran Church in San Antonio
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
It is truly a blessing and honor to share God’s word and watch my students grow in their faith and love for Jesus. My hope as a teacher is to help my students to achieve all that Jesus has set out for them to achieve in 4th grade. I look forward each day to helping students grow academically, celebrate God’s word, and be successful.
