My Story

My career has been somewhat of a dual tract. I have coached High School sports for 30 years (primarily football) and was an athletic director for over 20 years. I am also a CPA with extensive experience in non-profit and governmental accounting. I have been married to my wife Sheila for 36 years, and have four beautiful daughters: Kathleen, Megan, Lauren, and Emily. I am the proud Hank of 7 grandchildren. I have dedicated a vast majority of my career in private, Christian schools and I definitely saved the best for last.

What church do you attend?

Lakeway Church in Lakeway

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

I love working at SACS because it’s a place where my Christian faith has been greatly strengthened. My colleagues are amazing, and they inspire and support each other every day. This is a community where we all strive to make a difference in the lives of our students, and that makes it truly special. I look forward to coming to work every day and being part of this community.

Favorite Bible verse

Matthew 5:41 – “And whoever shall force you to go one mile, go with him two.”

What are your hobbies and interests?

As a former 30-year football coach, I love watching, coaching, and studying the game. I enjoy playing most card games and board games with the family. I love playing golf, but just as much for the fellowship aspect.
