My Story

I am a passionate history enthusiast, with a particular admiration for Calvin Coolidge, whose quiet leadership and integrity continue to inspire me. My life has been shaped by a close-knit family, and I’ve always found great joy in the companionship of pets. Professionally, I am deeply committed to my work as a history teacher, bringing my qualifications and love for the subject into the classroom every day. I take pride in sharing the lessons of the past with my students, helping them understand how history shapes our present and future. Through all of life’s changes and challenges, I remain grounded in my love for history and the work I’m fortunate to do.

What church do you attend?

Cross Mountain Church in Leon Spring

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

I love working at SACS because it allows me to unite my love for Jesus and my love for history. Teaching here gives me the opportunity to approach historical thought through the lens of faith, helping students see how God’s truth intersects with the stories of humanity. I’m inspired by the privilege of encouraging students to think deeply about their purpose and the ways history reflects God’s hand throughout time.

Favorite Bible verse

Micah 6:8 – “He has told you, mortal one, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

What are your hobbies and interests?

I love working with my hands through leatherworking and sewing. These connect with tradition and enjoy the satisfaction of turning simple materials into something meaningful.
