My Story
I grew up in San Antonio and attended SACS throughout my school years. As a student, I was involved in the band, serving as drum major during my junior and senior years, and I was also the class president of the Class of 2010. After 10 years in part-time and full-time church ministry as an Associate Director of Youth Ministries, Director of Youth Ministries, and Director of Family Ministries, the Lord called me back to SACS, which was foundational in my faith and upbringing. I have six adopted children—five currently attend SACS, and one has already graduated. I am deeply grateful that my children can call SACS home, just as I have for so many years.
What church do you attend?
Community Bible Church & Coker Methodist Church in San Antonio
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
I am so thankful that SACS is a place that I get to call home, everyone on this campus is one big family to me and my kids. The support, love, and care that comes from the faculty, staff, and school families is amazing. Throughout my time at SACS, it has been amazing to see The Lord at work in the good times and the bumpy patches along the road. The love of Christ shines brightly here at SACS through our community.
Favorite Bible verse
Psalms 86:2 – “Guard my life, for I am faithful to you; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God.”
What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends, no matter where we are. The lake is one of my favorite places, and my kids always call it ‘my happy place.’ I remind them it’s only my happy place because they are there with me.
