My Story
I am married to my wonderful husband, Kevin. With 16 years of teaching experience, 10 years in Pre-K, and 6 in first grade, I’m passionate about shaping young minds. Originally from Louisiana, I moved to San Antonio 7 years ago to continue my teaching journey. My faith in God has always been a guiding force in my life, and I’ve witnessed countless blessings along the way. I’m especially grateful to work at the same school as my daughter, Anna, and to see my other daughter, Emily, follow in my footsteps as an educator. Teaching children about Jesus and integrating faith into learning is truly a blessing.
What church do you attend?
North Rock in San Antonio
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
I feel incredibly blessed to work in an environment where I can openly pray and be prayed for by my coworkers and the families of my students. It’s a true privilege to teach my students not only academic lessons but also how to love the Lord, and to pray alongside them. I’m grateful to be part of a community where my team feels like family, and where faith is woven into the fabric of our work every day.
Favorite Bible verse
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, shopping, and friends. These activities bring me joy, help me recharge, and allow me to appreciate life’s simple pleasures and nurture important relationships.
