My Story
I am a believer in community service and my church gives me many opportunities. I mainly work with the Homeless Ministry and the Foster/Adopt Ministry. I met my husband in San Antonio at church and we are past year 30. I am a mother of two and grandmother of three and I love to spend my days off with the grandkids. I am the fun “Gammy.” I also teach at Northeast Lakeview College which gives me insight into the world we are preparing our students to face.
What church do you attend?
Northside Church of Christ in San Antonio
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
My favorite things about teaching at SACS are the students and the freedom. I first and foremost can talk about my faith and about God to my students, coworkers and administration. And second, the students are deep thinkers, hard workers and very inspirational to me.
Favorite Bible verse
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”
What are your hobbies and interests?
My hobbies include graphic design and marketing, photography and reading.
