My Story

I’ve been married to my husband, Steven, since 1998, and we have two grown children—Aubrie, a teacher in the Waco area and SACS Class of 2020 graduate, and Connor, who is pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity at UTSA. I earned my bachelor’s degree in education from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. With over 20 years of experience teaching grades 3-5, I now serve as the instructional liaison for the elementary, supporting teachers in delivering biblically integrated lessons and ensuring curriculum alignment with academic standards for high-quality instruction.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

I am continually inspired by the supportive community of coworkers who encourage one another in faith and excellence. It’s a joy to partner with my coworkers in teaching children about God’s Word and helping them grow academically and spiritually. Being part of a school that prioritizes Christ-centered education and fosters a loving, faith-filled environment is a true blessing.
