My Story
My husband Eric and I have been married since 2008 and have two daughters, Madeline and Hope. I worked in the public school system as a social worker for 11 years before having my daughter Hope in 2016. I absolutely love working with students, it is my passion. During my 5 years as a stay-at-home mom, I volunteered to work with children through Bible Study Fellowship and my church. I have been a substitute teacher since March 2022 and feel privileged to get to know our amazing Christian staff. In addition, I have been blessed to make many caring friends with similar family Christian values. I pray I can contribute as much as I have been blessed by this community.
What church do you attend?
River City Community Church in Selma
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
I am so thankful that God has led my family to SACS. I have seen the strong work ethic firsthand by our teachers. Our school has parents who regularly volunteer their time to provide any additional support needed. We also have support staff that go above and beyond in their work assignments. I love working here because God is present in this community in a unique way.
Favorite Bible verse
Matthew 6:33-34 – “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
What are your hobbies and interests?
I love spending quality time with my family. We enjoy meeting friends for playdates, watching movies, traveling and spending time outdoors.
