My Story
I have 2 children and my room is full of the many animals I have acquired throughout my years at SACS. I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University with a Masters Degree, and I am using that already to teach 12th grade. I would someday like to teach at the high school or even college level as I move through my career in education.
What church do you attend?
Community Bible Church in San Antonio
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
I enjoy the lightbulb moments of students when they connect with the material. It is exciting every day to see students grow and ask engaging questions that are not simply answered by Google and chatgpt. There are some questions that they just can’t understand unless they have a personal connection with a teacher that develops over time. I love the animals in my room and how they bring my subjects to life.
What sport(s) do you coach?
Cross country, track
Favorite Bible verse
Revelation 5:13 – “And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying, “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.”
What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy Animal Husbandry, coaching track, and cross country, I enjoy woodworking, and side hobbies such as selling things and entrepreneurship.
