Our Philosophy of Education

When children develop a strong sense of identity in their formative years, it establishes a solid foundation for their academic and spiritual growth throughout middle school, high school, and beyond.

The educational experience at SACS is intentionally crafted to complement and reinforce the values you instill at home. Our highly qualified faculty and staff design engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students while modeling compassion and care, shepherding them toward excellence in the Lord within a warm, inviting environment.

Scripture is central in everything we do. All subjects and activities are integrated with a biblical perspective to foster a Christ-centered worldview in each child.

This mission is evident throughout our school, from the strong foundation in pre-kindergarten and elementary to the continued spiritual and academic growth in middle and high school.

“I love SACS because my children wake up each morning excited for school. The teachers at SACS care about my children’s growth as a person, not just as a student. We chose SACS because of their commitment to Christ, their rigorous (but achievable) academics, and opportunities to participate in strong athletics and Fine Arts programs. My children have grown in every aspect of life since starting SACS. My only regret is not enrolling them sooner.”

Biblical Worldview & Strong Academics

In elementary school, your child will discover how God’s truth touches every aspect of life. Every subject, every class, every program, and every activity is designed to point our students to the Creator.

Our students achieve academic success through creative, collaborative learning experiences that bring core subjects to life.

At the elementary level, areas of study include:

Bible

Our desire is that the reading, studying, understanding and application of God’s Word will lead each student into a greater appreciation of their heritage and enhance their walk with Christ. The Bible curriculum is designed to help students develop a Christian worldview, resulting in an understanding of how Biblical principles apply to their life today.

Science

Primary grades focus on the days of Creation, helping students understand God’s intentional design in Genesis 1. In secondary grades, students study Chemistry, Astronomy, and Anatomy, exploring the complexity of God’s creation and how scientific concepts reflect His wisdom and sovereignty.

Language Arts

English develops communication skills in phonics, reading, writing, speaking, and listening, helping students become confident, articulate, and persuasive. Through literature, grammar, and writing instruction, students learn to interpret, analyze, research, and effectively communicate ideas and opinions with clarity and truthfulness.

History

Studying history, including World War I and II, inventors, ancient civilizations, and the Middle Ages, from a biblical worldview reveals God’s sovereign plan. History shows His purpose unfolding, reflects His creative nature, and highlights humanity’s need for Christ amid sin’s consequences.

Math

Mathematics describes the precision and order of God’s creation, revealing His consistency and omniscience. It fosters patience, perseverance, and creativity while developing essential skills like problem solving, analytical thinking, and logical reasoning, preparing students for success beyond the classroom.

Physical Education

Students develop gross motor skills, balance, and strength through P.E. activities that emphasize teamwork, cooperation, and communication. Field day highlights athletic skills and celebrates physical activity, reflecting biblical principles of community, unity (1 Corinthians 12:14-27), and honoring God’s design for the body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Service

Elementary students grow spiritually and in character through Bible class, chapel, and serving others on campus and in the community (Matthew 25:40). Service opportunities and mentoring reinforce Christ-like compassion and the biblical call to selfless service (Philippians 2:3-4).
