My Story

I am married to Brooke O’Brien, who also works at SACS. Together, we have four wonderful children: Malachi (17), Selah (15), Izzy (12), and Aidan (10). My family and I strive to honor Jesus in every aspect of our lives, recognizing that everything else is temporary and secondary. “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Phil 1:21). Throughout my career, I have held various roles, including Bible teacher, lead teacher, director of discipleship, admin, and student council advisor. I am currently honored to serve as the Director of Spiritual Life.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

I find joy in discussing the Lord with students, especially as they explore their faith and strengthen their relationship with Jesus. Additionally, I enjoy meeting with community leaders. One of my primary goals is to help SACS build strong partnerships within the community, creating opportunities for our students to serve others in San Antonio. I am greatly encouraged when students encounter God in transformative ways.
