My Story
Originally from New Mexico, I have called Texas ‘home’ since 2004. The number of legs in our family totals 48! 20 chicken legs, 12 dog legs, 8 horse legs, and 8 human legs! Married since 2004, our dream has been to have a little patch of dirt where our legs, both human and otherwise, can grow together. Our teenagers, Emily and Ethan, attended SACS for a total of 20.5 years and we are thankful for the community that helped raise and point them to the Lord. When I am not at school, I can be found cheering for my son at the baseball diamond or my barrel-racing daughter at the rodeo arena, tending to my garden, spoiling my hens, or sitting on the front porch admiring God’s beautiful sunsets with my hubby.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
I truly believe that teaching is a calling from God, and every step of my journey has reaffirmed that. To me, education is about more than just academics—it is about nurturing the hearts and minds of students and helping them grow spiritually and intellectually. I am incredibly thankful for God’s provision, my family’s constant support, and the opportunity to serve at San Antonio Christian School. What I love most about SACS is the sense of family we have here. We encourage one another, challenge each other, offer support, hold each other accountable, and most importantly, we point each other and our students to Jesus.
