Celebrating Creativity, Honoring the Creator
At SACS, we believe the arts provide a unique opportunity to explore creativity while reflecting the beauty of God’s creation.
The Arts Department is dedicated to enriching students’ lives through comprehensive programs in visual and performing arts. By engaging in disciplines like drawing, painting, music, and theater, students develop their God-given talents while learning critical skills in collaboration, self-expression, and communication. Our Christ-centered approach encourages students to see the arts as a reflection of a creative God and a powerful tool for glorifying Him.
Students also have opportunities to showcase their talents through performances, exhibitions, and competitions, building confidence and a deeper appreciation for their craft. At SACS, the arts are more than a subject—they’re a way to honor the Creator and inspire the world.
Performing Arts
Our performing arts program is designed to inspire creativity and develop talent at every stage of a student’s journey.
In elementary school, music classes lay a strong foundation, preparing students to read music by the time they enter middle school. From there, students are encouraged to explore their passions, whether it’s picking up a band instrument, singing in the choir, or stepping onto the stage in our middle school theatre program, where they hone vocal and presentation skills.
High school brings even greater opportunities for students to showcase their talents. They can join the High School Rock Band, the highlight of every Friday night football halftime show, or perform with the award-winning Jazz Band. For theatre enthusiasts, the high school program offers the chance to produce at least two major shows each year, each featuring multiple performances. Whether running sound and lights behind the scenes or starring on stage, students gain hands-on experience and create memorable performances every semester.
