High School

Private Christian Education for 9th–12th grade in San Antonio, TX

As a parent, you want more for your student. More educational opportunities. More uplifting friendships. More direction for their future. More time with God.

More of all the right things.

A high school education at San Antonio Christian School can help. We offer a rigorous, college-prep education, a solid biblical foundation, and all the athleticsfine arts, and clubs your student needs to explore their God-given talents.

Faith Leading to a Life of Service

SACS integrates a biblical worldview into every subject, program, and event. On occasion, some of our athletes join local law enforcement officers in prayer, fostering meaningful community connections. Our award-winning theater program shares Christ’s love by inviting children in foster care to experience performances and share meals with our students. Additionally, students have opportunities to serve others through both domestic and international mission trips.

Academics Preparing Your student for Success

Working with the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability and the Association of Christian Schools International, the SACS curriculum draws out the best in each student. We personalize education by offering AP courses and dual credit for students who want to level up their academics — and by giving academic support and tutoring where needed. At each grade level, additional analytical thinking is required so teens are ready for college and careers.

Enrichments Allowing Your Student to Flourish

If your high schooler is interested in the arts, we have talented teachers who lead robust programs in music, theater, visual, and digital arts. Plus, we offer 12 competitive sports and numerous clubs and programs for students to practice their leadership skills and dive deeper into their interests. Your teen might enjoy plugging into our on-campus 4H program, exploring cybersecurity in CyberPatriot, practicing extreme knitting, or serving in Worship Arts.

Interim Week:

A Chance to Explore

High school is a critical season for learning about career path possibilities. That’s why we created Interim Week, a whole week set aside to allow our high schoolers to explore vocational interests, non-traditional learning opportunities, and internships. Every year, we partner with local businesses and nonprofits that welcome our students, introduce them to real-world jobs, and discuss the importance of preparation.

People say the nicest things

Gerber Family
“In a world that feels at times dark and hopeless, SACS has provided a refuge of hope and light for our family. We are equally confident that the truth of Jesus and His word are being proclaimed daily and that our children are receiving the very best education.”
Stevenson Family
“We feel, at times, SACS chose us. To us, the combination of environment, academics, school size and connectivity makes SACS unique. I feel like we are investing in our girls’ future with seeds of faith, a heart for service and a knowledge of the Word. That is something that can never be taken away from them.”
Moake Family
“We recently recognized that teaching kindness and goodness in school, without connecting the dots back to our Lord and Savior, is not enough. We work to position God first in our lives, in the way we work, play and treat others; and by attending SACS, our son has had the ability to place GOD at the center of his education, where He belongs.”
Bates Family
“We have a senior & sophomore at SACS. From the beginning we have loved the fellowship among the families, the lasting friendships our kids have made and the small town feel of the school. The staff is amazing & they really pour their hearts into our kids.”
Morgan Family
“SACS teachers just LOVE our kids and I honestly think they love us as parents also! They go above and beyond their role as teachers to act as counselors, leaders, caretakers, advocates, servants, and role models. They are providing an education while also nurturing souls and pointing kids to Christ in every way.”
Parish Family
“We chose SACS because we believe in the eternal value of a solid Christian education. The SACS community has a special small-town feel, and whenever we are on campus it just feels like home. SACS truly is a family, and it continues to be a blessing to us as parents and to our 3 children.”

Steps to Create a Safe Environment at SACS

We prioritize both physical and emotional safety to create a secure and supportive environment.

We use modern safety protocols, including surveillance cameras and multiple armed security guards with law enforcement or military experience, to ensure physical security. Emotionally, we focus on fostering respect and support through our Student Honor Code, which sets clear expectations for high schoolers in their interactions with peers and adults.

Additionally, we have a licensed counselor available to support students, and each grade level has a designated Leader and Co-leader who proactively monitor students’ academic, spiritual, and social growth, offering early intervention when needed.
