We now have a 4-H chapter at San Antonio Christian School.

This will be a closed 4-H group, only open to SACS students. Students from 3rd grade through 12th grade may join.

What is 4-H?
4-H is a cooperative extension that provides experiences where young people learn by doing. Kids complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture, and citizenship in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles.

4-H Programming
Based on their interests and guided by adult mentors, youth develop their own pathway in 4 H. They select from a broad menu of 4 H programs such as raising and training animals, horticulture, sewing, and cooking. There are many paths to choose, but all have strong elements of leadership development and competition with peers.

Livestock at SACS
Always wanted to raise an animal but had no place to do that? Now you do! SACS has designated property on our campus to accommodate livestock. The Club has already begun a goat project — we’ve cleared the land, built a barn and put up fences. There is much yet to be done. Come break ground with us!

Other Projects at SACS

There will be several projects to choose from in the months to come, including archery and photography. We would love to have you join us. Find us on our Facebook page at Lion Pride 4-H Club.
